Dental Dam clamps are placed over a tooth to secure the dental dam in place and to retract the tissue from the surrounding area.Wingless clamps are without projections at the jaws and are positioned intraorally before the dam is stretched over the clamp and the tooth. Awesome magnifiers!
I purchased these for my lapidary work. They help me see clearly while grinding and polishing stones while maintaining good posture. Not your typical buyer for dental loupes, but they are awesome for seeing fine details at a comfortable arms length. Perfect for artists! I plan to get a set of the hygienist loupes for when I’m at my jeweler’s bench working. For this application, I feel I need the closer focal length and wider focal field. The 3.5 x are better for arms length to see a smaller focal field more magnified.
