Not your typical buyer for dental loupes, but they are awesome for seeing fine details at a comfortable arms length. Perfect for artists! I plan to get a set of the hygienist loupes for when I’m at my jeweler’s bench working. For this application, I feel I need the closer focal length and wider focal field. The 3.5 x are better for arms length to see a smaller focal field more magnified.
